Tara Flood: Asking Questions

Tara was born in 1966 in Preston, Lancashire. She was sent to a residential special school in East Sussex at just sixteen months of age and remained there until she was sixteen. She then returned to Preston and attended a local mainstream college.

I’d started doing a degree at night at the University of North London in, God, applied social policy or something, but it was more about – you know, I started veering towards, you know, sort of political science and psychology. It just started to sort of like – I just started to ask questions that I probably hadn’t asked before about the world and society.
