Because I just hadn’t understood a lot of the basic things, I still don’t understand grammar, because I missed all of that. My wife corrects my writing, I write endless books now but if she doesn’t read it through people say, 'what’s this rubbish you’re putting to us?', you know, still the same. I just don’t – I haven’t got the rules of grammar in my head, and I can’t do it. I’ve got better, but I had to be better as a teacher myself. But I remember the head coming in when I was a teacher and correcting my spelling on the board in front of the class.
