Richard Rieser: Being ‘Objectionable’


Richard was born in 1948 in London. He attended private mainstream primary schools and then went to his local mainstream secondary school and on to university.

I had this self harming that I did quite a lot, because I didn’t like myself. And I didn’t think anybody else would like me, so I made myself objectionable. And so even when girls said, 'yeah, I’ll go out with you', then I did something at the end of it where it always went wrong.
