Well it was a time when long distance walking was quite a thing for teenagers, and I remember we went to the Lake District one year with my cousins, and they all went walking up Scafell which is the tallest peak in the Lake District, tallest peak in England and I wasn’t able to go because they didn’t think I’d be able to walk that far.
I was quite upset when my cousin came back and he was boasting about how he’d been on the top of Scafell and it was the highest point in England, and I hadn’t been able to go.
