Simone Aspis: Control and Divide

Simone was born in 1969 in Dollis Hill, London. She went to a residential special school in Cheshire from the age of four until sixteen. From there she went on to college and then university.

And what the head teacher used to do, he used to always put us with the kids we didn’t like in order to make – in order that you never did develop any relationships or friendships, so the idea was to try and break up any friendships that I would have ‘cause it was all about control and divide from what I could see.
