One of the really good, valuable insights I got as an interviewer from the What Did You Learn At School project was, knowing about people’s parents and their home life. That’s a big part of it as well, not just their education but how their parents supported them or their siblings supported them or didn’t support them. It was interesting to see the different ways that they were supported. The majority of people I interviewed, their parents were hands on and really, really good with saying like 'You can do anything you want and we’ll support you with everything' and also very realistic with it. And the ones that had siblings, they had that, the same thing I had, where my sisters probably did things that I wasn’t able to do because I was disabled and really, really wanted to, so I think that insight to home life, that was really interesting.
